Under Colorado law, there are two ways for a Republican candidate to gain access to the primary election ballot for state, county, and district offices:

Designation to the Primary Ballot by assembly through the caucus process.

Designation to the Primary Ballot by petition.

The assembly / caucus process is the grassroots process to get your preferred candidate on the ballot.
